“Hello, Jesse. Can you tell me anything about the treats that went missing tonight?”
“I don’t know what happened to them. I didn’t eat them, if that’s what you’re getting at.”
“Some of the new treats were cream flavored. I have reason to believe that might make them extra tempting for you.”
“I admit that cream is my favorite flavor, but I have more integrity than that. Besides, I was with Carmine in the Toy Closet. We were really quite focused on one another at the time, so I’m afraid I don’t really have any other useful information for you.”
