“Carmine, could you tell me what you know about the missing treats?”
“Excuuuuuse me? Why would I know anything about that?” Carmine gasped.
“I’m just asking everyone who was out of the carrying case tonight about where they were and if they saw anything-”
“I couldn’t possibly have had anything to do with this, this, this scandal! I spent the entire evening with Jesse in the Toy Closet.”
“Very well. Thank you.”
“Also, don’t listen to anything Grissi says,” she hissed. “That dog is bad news. If anyone has a criminal mind, it’s her! Have you seen her kindness and naughtiness values? Frankie’s no saint either, for that matter.”
