Gothic Room
This scene is based on the original family room - but it does NOT overwrite it.
*This file was updated for the third time on 8-5-10 to have a petzier floor, better textured rug, and different coloring in the fireplace when the fire isn't turned on. It's still not the greatest scene ever, but it looks a bit better.
Features:
-Working fireplace.
-Day and night.
-Chair for sitting and mantle for setting items on - please note that since this is based on the original family room I could not change the spots where items or pets rest on these objects, so the petz sit a little high on the chair and items are a bit low on the mantle.
-Appears in the main column of scenes instead of the custom scenes section

1970's Room
I wanted to utilize some decorating features with this scene, like changeable rugs and removable pillows, but that wasn't possible.
Petz clip through the bitmap images that are displayed when "interaction" features are toggled on in user made playscenes. (In other words if you have the "interaction" image of a new rug toggled on and your pet runs across it, the default rug will show through. Therefore, this scene is painfully simple and bland).
Features:
-End tables that function as ledges for setting items on.
-Couch for your petz (or items I suppose) to lounge on.
-You can hang pictures and other hangable items on the wall.

Bedroom
Another simple playscene.
Features:
-You can hang things on the wall
-Petz and items can sit on the dresser, bed, and headboard

Back Alley (Daytime)
This is the daytime version of the back alley. The features are the same as the nighttime version, it just doesn't have the ambient lighting.
Features:
-Hangable walls.
-Fire escape, window sill and trash can are ledges.
~Mice come out from behind the garbage bags and out of the gutter.

Back Alley (Nighttime)
This is the nighttime version of the back alley. The features are the same as the daytime version, it's just dark and has the streetlight glow.
Features:
-Hangable walls.
-Fire escape, window sill and trash can are ledges.
~Mice come out from behind the garbage bags and out of the gutter.

Laundry Room
This laundry room is based on the kitchen - but it does NOT overwrite it.
Features:
-Washer and dryer with lights and water sounds that turn on or off when the buttons and dials are clicked.
-The cabinets and appliances open and close and allow for the storage of toyz.
-The black shelf and countertop serve as ledges to set items on.
-The scene appears on your main drop down list instead of under "Custom Scenes," so it is easy to click and go!
*Please note that the petz 3 and 4 versions will appear a bit more pixelated since they only support 8 bit color.*

TV Room
This scene is based on the Family Room, but does NOT overwrite it.
Features:
~Fully functional TV! Just click the lower knob to turn it on. (It replaces the fire, so the programming plays continuously until stopped by clicking the knob again. The TV turns off at the end of a frameset cycle, so there can be a delay sometimes)
~You can set items on the entertainment center.
~The couch is treated partially as floor space and partially as the family room chair for petz and items to sit on.
~Functional Window, weather, day and night cycles for Petz 5
**This scene appears more pixelated in Petz 3 and 4 due to the limited color palette of these game versions**

"Christmas Night"
This playscene is meant to be a blank template for you to decorate for Christmas.
~The wall, tree and window are hangable, so there is a lot of "hanging" space for items.
~The windowsill is extra large for setting items on and letting your petz watch for Santa out the window.
~Clicking the tassel on the left side of the curtain will reveal a subtle interaction out the window ;)

"Growable Living Room"
***This is a very plain scene because it has a floor that is designated as GROWABLE.***
I am working on a series of "growable" decorations based on the flower seeds for you to grow in this room.
This way your petz won't disrupt your carefully placed items as they frolic about. They will be anchored to the floor!
